Cool Cucumber Cocktail
This gin concoction blends cucumber, a powerful antioxidant, with apple cider and cranberry juice for a healthy cocktail option.
1 1/2 oz. gin
1 oz. apple cider (I prefer Scrumpy's)
1 oz. organic cranberry juice
1/4 cup diced cucumber
3 mint leaves
Muddle the diced cucumber and mint in the bottom of a shaker glass. Add ice, gin, cider and cranberry juice. Shake and strain in a tall glass filed with crushed ice. Garnish with a cucumber wheel.
Frozen Waterberry Batida
This cocktail combines cachaca with strawberries and watermelon to create the perfect fruity drink for your next gathering.
Off to Brazil and the land of cachaca, a liquor made from distilled sugar-cane juice (most other rums are distilled from molasses).
2 cups of watermelon (seedless)
6 strawberries chopped (freeze and chop in advance if possible)
2 oz. Cuca Fresca Cachaça
2 oz. condensed milk
1 Tbs. superfine sugar
1 1/2 cups crushed ice
Sprig of fresh mint for garnish
Mix all ingredients in a blender. Add ice and blend until smooth. Garnish with a mint sprig.
This simple, fruity drink is a cross between a top-shelf margarita and a champagne cocktail.
black raspberry liqueur
fresh lime juice
simple syrup, optional
The "margarita mix" consists of two parts premium tequila, 1 1/2 ounces orange cognac, 1/2 ounce raspberry liqueur and a splash of fresh lime juice. Add simple syrup, if desired. Mix all of the "margarita mix" ingredients in a thin shaker with ice, a little diluted.
Get a good shake to get a good fizz. One-third of the glass is the "margarita mix" and the rest of the drink is champagne.
A wineglass should be chilled before you pour the drink. Cover the rim with raspberry sugar, but don't get any in the drink. To add fizz, drop a few raspberries in the drink
A grittier, sassier version of the classic Cosmo, this cocktail is a combination of citrus vodkas, sour mix, cranberry juice and lime juice.
fresh lime juice
lemon peel, garnish
Add two parts lemon-flavored vodka, 1/4 ounce orange liqueur, 1/4 ounce lemoncello, 1/4 ounce cranberry juice, 1/4 fresh lime juice and 1/4 ounce sour mix into a shaker. Shake and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a lemon peel
- Women are usually the guest at these parties and they love to laugh and have fun!
- Good times mean great purchases!
- Have a variety of fashion magazines around for your guests to browse.
Guests are asked jewelry related questions like: Do you prefer silver over gold? If any answer is yes then that person(s) is to move over one seat to the right. This can cause a lap pile up, but very funny! The best game yet to get people loosened up.
Pass around pictures of famous celebrities cut from magazines, so each jewellery party guest gets one celebrity. Then each guest has to pick out a piece of jewellery that her celebrity is most likely to wear. Then each guest explains (this often gets fun and silly) why her celebrity loves that piece of jewellery. Then have the guests look at the back of their celebrity photos. One of the celebrity photos has a small mark (such as an x or star) on the back of the photo. The guest who has that celebrity wins.
Purse Treasure Hunt
The host calls out items that the ladies may or may not have in their purses and the one with the most won.
Have guests draw jewellery or terms related to jewellery and then the host will give a small description about an item between each drawing.
Games to encourage guests to become a host
The 2-Minute Party (plan)
Give all guests a piece of paper and pencil or pen. Using a timer, give guests 2 minutes to write down the answers to the following:
- What is your favourite drink?
- What is your favourite snack?
- Who do you know in this room?
- What are the names of your neighbours?
- What are the names of your favourite co-workers?
- Does your best friend live within 30 miles of your home?
- How many of your friends live within 30 miles of your home?
- Are you friendly with any of your spouse’s/significant others’ co-workers?
Now, tell everyone what your favourite drink and snack are, and give a tiny treasure to any guest that shares your answers. Give a larger gadget to the person with the names on his or her list.
Then, tell them that they just planned their own Sistaco party in two minutes. Wasn’t that easy? Give a gift to anyone who decides to date right then and there.
The Left/Right Game
Choose two small gifts. Give one gift to the Ambassador. Give the other gift to a guest at the party, asking her to hold it for you.
Read the following story, and every time you say the words “Left” or “Right” the person holding the gift must pass it to the person either sitting to the left or right of them!
I LEFT my house and was on my way to (Host’s Name)’s house. I realized that I had LEFT the directions at home, RIGHT by the phone! I knew RIGHT away that I needed to have the RIGHT directions to (Host’s name)’s house, so I turned LEFT and I turned RIGHT and made my way back to my house for the RIGHT directions. Sure enough, there they were, RIGHT where I had LEFT them, RIGHT next to the phone. Finally, I was on the RIGHT track. I arrived RIGHT on time, and set up my display RIGHT over here.
You all arrived, some of you RIGHT on time, and sat RIGHT down. I’ll get RIGHT to work and tell you all about our wonderful company, ambassador program, and income opportunities. I hope nothing will be LEFT out! In a moment, I will be showing you our exquisite products. If you LEFT home with the intention of shopping for gifts today, remember, we have the RIGHT gifts for everyone. Review your shopping list; we wouldn’t want anyone to be LEFT out. We have the RIGHT gifts for everyone.
This may be the RIGHT time for you explore joining Sistaco…please talk to me RIGHT after the party. Don’t be LEFT behind on a great opportunity!!! I’m enjoying being here with all of you today, and I hope that you are having fun, too. I know you can’t wait to see if we have that special item you have been looking for; and so, without further delay, I will get RIGHT to the point of this party, which is to show you our fabulous products. Therefore, there is really nothing left for me to do now but congratulate our winner…RIGHT???
